The Gate Control program is true client-server software. Each access control device appears to the Gate System Server as a virtual device. This means each device interrogator has equal and simultaneous access to the server. Gate Controller Features:
- Multi-device compatible: While Radio Frequency Identification systems and Barcode Readers are our favorite interfaces, we can interface with just about any interrogator including a Ticket Issuing Machine that provides complete guest entry and exit accountability. All of our interfaces were developed in conjunction with, and are approved and warranted by, the device hardware manufacturers.
- Domain Capable: The same card that gets you through the main gate can be programmed to allow access through other control points within the community.
- Unlimited User Classes: You can specify which gates or interrogators each user class or individual device is allowed to access, what domains the user or device has rights to, and also apply date-range/day-of-week/and hour-of-day restrictions.
- Transaction Displays: Each time a user accesses an entry control device, the user name, vehicle type and license number is displayed on a monitor.
- System Integration: The Gate Control system will either operate as a stand-alone unit or seamlessly integrate with the SafeHouse Entry Controller allowing every gate in the community to be programmed from a single screen.
- Door Access Control: The same software system that is controlling your entry gates can also control access to your clubhouse, recreation center, or any other secured area. Only SafeHouse products can provide you with this level of scalability.
- Gate Reporting Module: Gate Control can connect to your existing access control panel and record traffic history of devices to the database.
- Support: The SafeHouse Preferred User Program is available for this module, which provides free upgrades, maintenance releases and remote product support.
